Earthquake Alert Systems

When an Earth quake happens, two waves are sent outusers know a little more about you.

When an earthquake happens, two waves are sent out. The first one is faster and not destructive. Sensors detect this wave and alert us up to a minute before the second, more destructive wave hits.

These alert systems only save you seconds, and in best case, minutes. This doesn't sound like much, but in case of emergency, this can be lifesaving.
